News about our own Jordan Lewis and how she was recognised in the Apprentice of the Year Awards. We’re so proud of her!

A massive congratulations to our very own Jordan Lewis who was shortlisted for the Suzanne Finch Apprentice Champion Award.

The award is dedicated to one of the BPP University coaches, Suzanne Finch, who died in 2021. Suzanne advocated for the power of Apprenticeships (and Education) and believed in helping others succeed. The annual award recognises those who champion Apprenticeships in the way Suzanne did.

Although Jordan didn’t win her category, she was commended for the work she did with BBC Bitesize and the Mid Wales Skills Partnership, where she raised awareness and championed the apprenticeship route.

BPP University said:

“The judges let us know it was harder than ever to shortlist for these awards as the nominations this year were so incredible!… A massive congratulations to all those who were shortlisted. You have all been making such amazing achievements and we really hope you can all recognise the amazing work you have been doing in your apprenticeships, in your work, and in the wider sector to make positive social change!”

To see Harrisons listed up there with some very big names makes us very proud!

About Apprenticeships

In case you didn’t know, apprenticeships combine real work with training and study. They put what they learn straight into practice, and don’t have to pay tuition fees.

You can find out more about Apprenticeships on the Government website.

Jordan is working here at Harrisons while studying for a Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship at BPP University. She expects to qualify as a solicitor in September 2025 and we’re delighted to support her.

Da iawn, Jordan!
